FOUR PAWS AND A TAIL COVID-19 STRATEGY
Our hygiene and infection control practices include:
■ Frequent and thorough hand washing by staff, and providing hand sanitizer for customers.
■ We encourage workers to stay home if they are sick.
■ We appreciate customers wearing a proper face covering.
■ We have established policies and practices, such as flexible work hours (e.g., staggered shifts), to increase the physical distance among employees and between employees and others.
■ We have always maintained, but have increased, regular housekeeping practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the work environment, using EPA-approved disinfectants, and following the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
We also practice:
■ Prompt identification and isolation of potentially infectious individuals is a critical step in protecting workers, customers, visitors, and others at a worksite.
■ We encourage employees to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 if they suspect possible exposure.
■ We take steps to limit spread of the respiratory secretions of everyone. We provide face masks and require staff to wear them.
■ We restrict the number of personnel entering isolation areas.
■ We encourage online payment whenever possible.
■ Social distancing guidelines apply to curbside pick-up. If possible, customers should wear PPE. When supply allows, we will provide masks to customers who do not have their own.
